Having a little brother is tough work!
Welcome home Sammy!
Today, my mom and dad brought my baby brother home from the hospital. All I can report is that he sleeps alot and really loves to hang out in his bouncy seat. Oh and I think my cats are excited to have a new baby around….one that can’t chase them and pet really hard like I do. Those cats just don’t know how to have fun.
Some more Sammy pics
A few more pics from the hospital. I’m really sick of my mommy being there. Ready for them to come home!

Introducing my little brother, Sam!
Today, my little brother, Samuel Benjamin Freeman was born at 7:41am. Immediately he’s trying to one up me by weighing in at 8lbs 13oz and 20inches (I was 7 lbs 3oz). Anyway, when I first met him he was crying, which scared me a little so I decided to cry too. But after hanging out with him a while he seems like a calm cool little guy. I can’t wait to get him home and show him around! We’re going to get in a lot of trouble together.
Sweet boy (post from mom)
Today I asked Jack to say hi to his little brother and this is what he did….yes, I cried. So sweet. Thanks to Steven for getting this shot!
One more day until Sam…
A few more photos from my birthday
My mom thought these were too good to pass up.

We finally got a picture of me with my uncles Bryan and Michael ![]()

It’s my birthday!
Today was my first birthday, and let me tell you, i could get used to this!!! Friends, family, cupcakes, cake, party hats, presents….just about the best thing ever. I think I’ll do this every year!
Thanks to everyone who helped my mom and dad with the party today. Mom’s not in fighting shape these days and truly appreciates everything everyone did to help make my day special. Especially for those who traveled from Michigan and North Carolina….thanks for coming to see me!
Also hugely grateful to my buddy Steven for taking photos of my big day. Check out these first two shots. My mom LOVES them.

Look at me go!
Ever since I took my first steps a couple of weeks ago I’ve been getting better and better each day. It’s so much fun to see how much trouble I can get into! Here’s a video of me running around doing just that….picking up/eating mail, hitting the wall, playing drums on the garbage can, climbing my pack-n-play and for my grand finale, licking and biting the radiator. Yum yum. All in a days work.
I’m a big boy now
For some reason, this picture makes my mom all weepy because she thinks I look like such a big boy. I’m just sitting here eating puffs by myself – i don’t know what the big deal is. Maybe its the fact that I’m walking (and sometimes running) all the time now…or maybe she is just a crybaby. Girls.
