WOW! What a fun holiday. Last year, I was little like Sammy, so I didn’t know what was going on but this year, i had so much fun. As you’ll see in the pictures, I was a fly fisherman and Sammy was a fish. Yes, mommy thinks she’s clever. Anyway, we suited up over at Grandma’s, then it was off to Daddy’s work to show off. The last time I was there I wasn’t even walking so they were all very surprised. Then we went to Scotts Corner, a cute little town that hosts trick-or-treating for all of the kids. It was chaotic but very fun to see all the little kids like me! Then we headed for home where I hooked up with my two buddies AJ and AJ for some picture time. I’m wiped out and heading to bed! Can’t wait ’til next year…

But all the blue and gold in the world couldn’t save us from getting beat by daddy’s team this year. Oh well, I guess we can let them win every 6th time or so…

Grandma and Grandpa (who i call “a-dah”) are so much more fun than my mom and dad. They let me get into all sorts of trouble at their house.

Iowa? Nebraska? Indiana? Nope – turns out I’m right smack dab in the middle of a residential section in Stamford, CT by my grandma and grandpa’s house. No idea what this dude is putting in the soil to make corn like this …. not sure I want to know.

As many of you know, my little brother has been sick for a week or so and had to have surgery on Tuesday. He had something called pyloric stenosis - which is a pretty hard word to a 1 year old to spell! It basically just means the muscle between his stomach and intestines was messed up so he couldn’t hold down any food – which wasn’t fun for any of us – especially him. I really think he was just trying to one up my surgery at three months by needing one at three weeks – show off. I guess i’ll just let him win since he’s feeling blue….but he will have to deal with the nickname “pukey.” I think that’s fair.
Anyway – we’re all happy he’s home from the hospital and feeling pretty good so far. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. It’s nice to know there are so many people who love all of us when things get scary. Here are some pics of my baby brother at the hospital…

Yesterday, my daddy had the day off so we went to Muscoot Farm to pick out pumpkins! It was so much fun. I got to run around like crazy with other kids AND got to pick two pumpkins out – one for me and one for Sammy. Halloween is quickly becoming one of my favorites. And I’m not even to the candy and costume part yet! Can’t wait.

Last weekend my family met up with the Wilsons at our new favorite spot at the Pound Ridge Reservation where Byron and I can run free! Uncle Jack made us a the best breakfast on his Coleman grill — french toast, eggs, potatoes – yum! Miriam and Sammy chose to picnic instead of playing but by next year we’ll all be running around getting dirty. Woohoo!
